MY PRACTICE:

Although I have experience in a wide range of legal issues, my practice focuses to a large extent on Probate and estate matters.  This would include VA Guardianships, probating of wills, and estate litigation.  Not all wills must be admitted to probate, and I have the knowledge and experience to know when probate can be avoided.  In addition to probate, I also represent clients in commercial litigation cases in Circuit and Chancery Court.  Another area of practice involves serving as closing attorney for the sale or purchase of businesses.  My commercial practice experience also enables me to assist clients with general legal matters related to their ownership and operation of their busines.  For more information about my areas of specialization, please see the links below

The term "Of Counsel" describes the close consultative relationship I have with the firm of Jackson, Shields, Yeiser & Holt, a firm specializing in Employment Law, Education Law, Construction Law, and Labor Relations.  For my clients needing legal assistance in these areas, I am privileged to provide referral and coordination with JSYC.   Likewise, some JSYC clients can benefit from my close working relationship with JSYC attorneys.
